One of chamber music’s most intimate ensembles performs works that carry the emotional impact of grand symphonies. Mozart, who brought the piano trio out of the home and into the concert hall, opens the program with a refreshingly ingenious creation. A pair of trios by Dvorák and Brahms will envelop listeners in the sonic splendor of the Romantic era.

Dvorák Trio in F minor for Piano, Violin, and Cello, Op. 65 (1883)
