ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY!!
Beloved show tunes will get a fresh perspective when Broadway Backwards returns with gender-reversed and star-studded twists on classic and modern favorites.

The star-studded event features performances of quintessential Broadway tunes with a twist: men sing songs originally intended for women, and vice versa. Artists will perform the great songs of musical theatre while freeing themselves of the bounds of gender norms. It’s a show where gender doesn’t matter, but love does.

Artists will honor the great songs of musical theatre while celebrating the LGBTQ community and creating an environment of equality, awareness and love. Broadway Backwards is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits Broadway Cares and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City

The one-night-only event will include performances by Clyde Alves, Tony winner Len Cariou, Lilli Cooper, Tony winner Gavin Creel, Tony nominee Ariana DeBose, Nathan Lee Graham, Robyn Hurder, Tony winner Rachel Bay Jones, Caitlin Kinnunen, Caissie Levy, Isabelle McCalla, Tony winner Donna McKechnie, Bonnie Milligan. two-time Emmy Award and Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth, two-time Tony nominee Andrew Rannells, Tony nominee Jarrod Spector, Academy Award and Tony nominee Kathleen Turner, plus the Grammy Award-nominated Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Broadway Backwards will be hosted by Tony Award nominee Jenn Colella, who is currently inspiring Broadway audiences eight times a week as pilot Beverley Bass in the hit musical Come From Away.
