The Shakespeare Theatre’s popular Outdoor Stage will ring with laughter as the “It Girls” of the 17th century, who bear a hilarious and uncanny resemblance to the “It Girls” of the 21st century, frolic, flirt, and flaunt in grand style in this silly, fun farce that is perfect for audiences of all ages and especially families with teens!

Is there a stranger house in Christendom
Than mine, where women are as mad as hatters,
And everything is known except what matters?

THURS 8 PM

Show Notes: No Intermission. Seating is general admission; the amphitheater opens 30 minutes before the performance. Prior to this, the large lawn surrounding the amphitheater is open-- an ideal spot for picnicking. Audience members may bring their own food and beverages, or purchase snacks and soft drinks on-site. Patrons are encouraged to bring low-backed beach chairs into the amphitheatre.
Age Guidance: 13
Audience Advisory: Inclement Weather: It is their desire to complete every performance, and we will make every effort to "raise the curtain" and finish each show despite light rainfall. If inclement weather necessitates canceling a show prior to curtain time, that decision will be made between one and two hours before curtain. To find out if a show is cancelled prior to curtain time, please check “News and Events” on the homepage ShakespeareNJ.org or call the Box Office at 973-408-5600.
