The premier orchestral ensemble at NYU Steinhardt, the NYU Symphony Orchestra, will perform German Masterworks from three iconic German composers: Karlheinz Stockhausen, Hans Werner Henze, and Richard Wagner.
This concert will feature the US premiere of Hans Werner Henze/Richard Wagner's Sieben Kompositionen zu Goethes Faust and feature soloists Alexandra Deshorties, soprano, and Keith Miller, baritone, with the NYU Chorale. The concert will also feature Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Tierkreis Musik im Bauch and feature the NYU Percussion Ensemble.
