A sweltering New York summer. A man (Kevin Bacon) confined to his wheelchair spends hour after hour watching his neighbors.

Is he imagining things, or has he witnessed a murder? A thrilling adaptation of the classic crime story—“Rear Window” by Cornell Woolrich—that inspired the Alfred Hitchcock film. Keith Reddin’s plays include Frame 312, Life and Limb and Rum and Coke.

    The main entrance for Hartford Stage is fully accessible and is located on Church Street, through the Box Office lobby

    Hartford Stage does not own a parking facility, both the adjacent MAT Garage and nearby Church Street Garage offer accessible parking spaces on every level. The MAT Garage offers an accessible ramp on its ground floor level that exits directly into Hartford Stage’s courtyard.

    Hartford Stage is equipped with accessible restrooms. They are located in the back corner of our main lobby, to the right of the stairs

  • Visual Assistance

    Audio description enables audience members who are blind or have low vision to hear descriptions of actions, body language, lights, costumes, scenery and other aspects of the production not conveyed by voices from the stage. This service is provided during the 2:00 pm Saturday Matinee Series 24.
