What happens when two beat cops, moonlighting in construction, find themselves in a battle between a pub owner & the Irish mob? NYC 1979.
A couple of NYC beat cops, hoping to strike gold, have taken on a construction job at The Sandman, a rundown Irish Pub in Chelsea. The cast of characters include a number of folk from Ireland, and a few with American accents. Construction problems abound, excess drinking ensues, and since we have a couple of cops in the script, there necessarily needs to be some illegal shenanigans to round things out.
