In honor of this musical’s incredible 60th anniversary – the HRT will produce the legendary Broadway treasure, JAMAICA, that made Lena Horne a Broadway star
JAMACIA features a book and score by Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen, the two creative geniuses who created FINIAN’S RAINBOW and THE WIZARD OF OZ!
The production’s creative, environmental setting, combined with surprising sets and colorful costumes will bring this forgotten treasure back to New York City for the first time since its 1957 opening on Broadway six decades ago.
