Returning once again to Free Shakespeare in the Park by The Public Theater, director Kenny Leon (Much Ado About Nothing) commands The Delacorte stage with a nine-week, tour-de-force production of the Bard’s masterpiece, Hamlet, a riveting, contemporary present-day take on Shakespeare’s classic tale of family and betrayal, as enduring as the stars above Central Park. Ato Blankson-Wood (Slave Play) stars as Hamlet with Lorraine Toussaint (CBS's The Equalizer) as Gertrude and Solea Pfeiffer (Almost Famous) as Ophelia.
