An original Israeli classic, winner of the Israel National Theater Award for Best Comedy in 1999.

Only a matter of life and death could bring Sophie, Tirzah and Lelly back into each other’s lives. Two years after ending a friendship of over 20 years, these ex-best friends are forced to re-examine their entire relationship–from the highest of highs to the low point that ended it all. Shifting back and forth between their youth and present-day adulthood, Best Friends takes us through an emotional roller coaster with brutal honesty, humor and a lot of heart. Best Friends will be performed in both English and Hebrew (by the same actors) in a limited engagement as part of the Stav Festival.
