How have you experienced love, loneliness and dreams in Chinatown? How do you navigate your own identity and find a sense of belonging in a neighborhood like Chinatown? MOCA Performs—Passage: A Walk of Chinatown Stories invites you to have a walk along Mott Street with a selection of intimate, local stories from both MOCA (Museum of Chinese in America)’s oral history archive and performers’ personal experiences shared with you through a series of interactive performances. Along this walk, you’ll get to experience the stories of nostalgia, resilience, loneliness, dreams and celebration—the cultural tapestry of Chinatown.

The whole performance will begin at the Museum of Chinese in America (215 Centre Street, New York, NY 10013) and will continue outdoors from Hester Street and Mott Street intersection all the way to Kimlau Square, and end at Confucius Plaza.
