Winter 2026 at New York City Ballet welcomes world premieres from Resident Choreographer Justin Peck and Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky among a plethora of repertory favorites past and present, including George Balanchine’s stunning Diamonds, Jerome Robbins’ beloved Dances at a Gathering and Peck’s electrifying Everywhere We Go featuring a cinematic Sufjan Stevens score. Ratmansky’s refreshing take on excerpts from the classical ballet Paquita, acclaimed as “a wonder of buoyancy and speed” (The New York Times), closes a program featuring Balanchine’s treasured Serenade and singular Prodigal Son. August Bournonville’s light-hearted pas de deux from Flower Festival in Genzano returns following its last appearance in 2016, and Peter Martins’ spectacular full-length The Sleeping Beauty enjoys a two-week run, providing an exuberant array of opportunities for dancers to shine as fantastical fairies and story-book characters.
