Tennessee Williams: Portrait of a Gay Icon is a one man play about the playwright Tennessee Williams.
Williams is on a lecture tour and becomes increasingly inebriated during the course of the lecture, eventually walking out after insulting his audience. The play had a wildly successful try-out in San Antonio and now the play comes to New York with celebrated character actor John Stillwaggon playing Tennessee Williams.
