Audible Theater presents the 25th anniversary concert reading of The Laramie Project, the revolutionary play that shook America’s conscience.

In 1998, a 21-year-old gay man named Matthew Shepard was kidnapped and murdered just outside the college town of Laramie, Wyoming. Following the tragedy, members of Tectonic Theater Project wove together over 200 authentic voices from the community in a powerful tapestry of grief, reflection and ultimately, hope.

Now, Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Moisés Kaufman, Artistic Director of Tectonic Theater Project, revisits this landmark work—hailed as one of the most vital in the American theatre canon—at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre. Don’t miss the strictly limited run of this groundbreaking theatrical event.
