No Exit is Sartre's existentialist masterpiece from 1944. Three strangers are locked in a room together in the afterlife, left to contemplate their sins and situation, and to suffer a new brand of torture...spending an eternity with "other people".
Fusion Theatre's first project will be the brilliant Sartre play "No Exit," which will be adapted and challenged in new and innovative ways. We will merge both text and opera in our production, the first of its kind, that will appeal both to literary/theatre as well as music audiences. Our actors are drawn from a tiny pool of classically trained actors who are also classically trained singers.
"No Exit" has a one week run, performed in English
