Public Transport

  • By Subway:
    Take the PATH train to the Hoboken Terminal. At Hoboken Terminal, take a NJ Transit 126 bus to 14th and Willow. Walk west to the corner of Clinton and 14th Street on the north side of the 14th Street Viaduct. OR take a cab to 1408 Clinton. Cabfare is a flat rate.
  • By Bus:
    Take the #126 New Jersey Transit bus from Port Authority to Hoboken – Washington Street. Get off on the 15th Street stop. Walk west one block to Clinton Street. Turn left on Clinton. The theatre is at the end of the block, on the right, near the viaduct.

Accessibility

  • Assisted Listening System

    Assistive listening devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. ALDs will be made available upon request with one weeks notice through our partnership with the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.   • Entrance

    Entrances to the building and theater are accessible. A wheelchair accessible path to the theatre’s seating area briefly goes through our backstage area. For safety, our front of house staff will escort you to your seat through this entrance.
  • Parking

    Convenient Parking available: Hudson Tea Building – 1450 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Special parking offers available at: https://www.milesquaretheatre.org/visit/
  • Restroom

    All public restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
  • Seating

    The entire front row of the theatre is wheelchair- and scooter- accessible. All seats can be removed so the patron can remain in their wheelchair or they can transfer from their wheelchairs to a theatre seat if desired. Accessible seating can be purchased online. For personal assistance selecting accessible seats or for more information about the accessibility features of our space, please call us at 201.683.7014 or email us at boxoffice@milesquaretheatre.org.
  • Visual Assistance

    Large Print Playbills are available at all main stage performances. Large print programs may be obtained from the house manager or usher upon entering the theater of the performance you are attending.

Mile Square Theatre was founded in 2003 as a non-profit professional theatre.We enrich and engage the region through the production of professional theatre and innovative arts education. Our dance and theatre classes are designed to instill a life-long interest in the arts.The Theatre traditionally engages thousands of people throughout the Greater Hudson County community each year through a dynamic season of new work, gently used pieces and a robust series of education and community engagement programs performed at Mile Square Theatre’s 116-seat house. We build transformative education experiences that enhance teacher practice, deepen student learning and ignite the present and futures of young people through embracing the arts.
