A thrilling Broadway premiere of Paula Vogel’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE reunites the two original stars with their award-winning director for a new production.

Tony Award® winner Mary-Louise Parker (Proof) and Tony nominee David Morse (The Iceman Cometh) head the cast of this remarkably timely and moving memory play about a woman coming to terms with a charismatic uncle who impacts her past, present and future life. Directing is Mark Brokaw (Heisenberg)

COVID Safety Information: 
Manhattan Theatre Club will maintain its vaccine and masking mandates at its Samuel J. Friedman Theatre through the run of How I Learned to Drive.
In addition to a valid ticket, to be permitted to enter the theatre:
Guests ages 12 and older will need to be Vaccinated (as defined below) with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine AND present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. (Guests 12-18 may use a government-issued ID or school ID, with or without a photo.)Guests ages 5 – 11 may enter the Theatre only when (1) accompanied by an adult who complies with the theatre entry requirements, and (2) providing proof of vaccination of one dose of an FDA or WHO approved vaccine.
Guests under 5 are not permitted in the theatre.
Masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status.
Guests who do not comply with these policies will be denied entry or asked to leave the theatre.
