While the live-performance season is on hold nationwide, The Seeing Place (TSP) continues to produce great plays by distinguished playwrights online. Up next is a lively online presentation of the Pulitzer Prize winning drama, SWEAT by Lynn Nottage.

Filled with warm humor and tremendous heart, SWEAT tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. But when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay afloat.

The play features TSP alumnus Logan Keeler and newcomers Miguel Fana, Lori Kee, Juanes Montoya, David Nikolas, Justin Phillips, Philippe D Preston, Joy Sudduth, and Eileen Weisinger. It is directed by TSP Producing Artistic Director Brandon Walker. Stage management will be announced shortly.

100% of the proceeds for SWEAT are being donated to The Fortune Society, a non-profit organization that supports successful reentry from incarceration and promote alternatives to incarceration, thus strengthening the fabric of our communities.
