On the anniversary of her mentor’s suicide, superhero Cassie Robertson AKA Blackout struggles to deal with her grief and keep control of her electrokinetic abilities. Instead of accepting the help of those she loves, Cassie only retreats further and further into the memories of her past. The further she goes, the more volatile her powers, and she’s left wondering how she’s even supposed to protect the city if she’s the one who puts it in danger.
