The TDF Costume Collection Rental Program offers over 100,000 pieces for rental to all types of film, television, digital media, art, dance, theatre and cultural productions.

Non-profit organizations receive deeply discounted prices. We just need a copy of your IRS paperwork to qualify.

We are dedicated in our mission to support non-profits and artistic creation; because of this, we cannot rent to individuals or businesses wanting to use costumes for wear by individuals at festive events or at Halloween.

Not sure if your project qualifies? Contact us.

What is Final Checkout?

If you wish to take costumes with you when you leave, items must be fully selected and ready for our staff to inventory by the Final Checkout time.

DIRECTIONS:

TDF Costume Collection is conveniently located at the historic Kaufman Astoria Studios, New York’s premier film and television production campus.

All Visitors Enter Through the Main Studio Gate unless you have a large drop-off. Enter at 35th Avenue and 36th Street through the studio gate (next to the Museum of the Moving Image and Sac's Place). You will receive a studio pass from the guard gate, which must be worn at all times while on the campus. There is no parking on the campus but street parking is available in the neighborhood.

If you have a large return or donation, you may use the freight entrance located on 35th Street between 34th and 35th Avenues. This freight entrance is often busy, so you may need to wait. Also, we recommend that when making large deliveries you have a person stay with your vehicle since someone may ask you to move the car quickly. They generally will allow for a quick drop off if someone waits with the car.

The approximate address for the freight is 34-35 35th Street, Astoria, NY 11106
