This summer, TDF is offering a virtual Directing Plays and Musicals in the School and Classroom course through the NYC Department of Education's After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP). Teachers can earn professional credits along the way (P-credits and CTLE hours), and receive a complimentary one-year membership to TDF. Best of all, teachers from anywhere can enroll because it's all online!
Directing Plays and Musicals in the School and Classroom
When: Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to noon ET
Where: On Zoom from your home
For: Teachers of grades K through 12th
Cost: $275 to TDF; ASPDP fee of $125 for P-Credit payable to ASPDP

Summer P-Credit Course for Teachers: 3 Credits
This summer, learn how to stage shows with your students! Participants will meet with TDF teaching artist and award-winning director Stephen DiMenna for two hours each day for a week via Zoom. Demonstrations, discussions and activities will happen online, and teachers will be given assignments to complete on their own and present the next day to the group via Zoom.
