On May 20, 2013, SDCF Producing Director Ellen Rusconi moderated a conversation with SDCF Executive Board President and Artistic Director of the Pioneer Theatre Company, director/choreographer Karen Azenberg, as part of SDCF’s annual Emerging Artist Symposium on Musicals. Throughout the discussion, she provides insights into the skills and decisions that led to her successful freelance career, as well how that experience prepared her to transition into her new leadership role.
