Two intimacy directors on the delicate but necessary nature of their position
Let's talk about sex, baby—sex on stage that is! TDF partnered with NYC-based theatre Company of Fools to present a conversation about intimacy direction, a relatively new profession that ensures performers in intimate scenes—including but not limited to simulated sex scenes—are safe and comfortable. Company of Fools' managing director Collin Blackard moderated a discussion with intimacy directors Cristina "Cha" Ramos and Brooke M. Haney about what they do, how they became involved in this line of work and the challenges of their field. If you weren't able to tune in live, you can watch a recording below. Captions are available.
