The COMMUNITY PARTNERS program works with a wide range of organizations in the Tristate area, offering a deeply discounted annual membership fee for TDF membership, the opportunity to create group outings at member prices, and up to two complimentary memberships for key administrators per organization. In addition, we curate a monthly resource guide to the arts in various NYC neighborhoods and citywide. These are just some of benefits of this program, which may also include theatre tickets and access to Broadway HD. Our Partners share our values and seek to increase and uphold the culture and vitality of New York and all New Yorkers. If you’re interested in having your organization become a TDF Community Partner, click here to fill out an interest form.
The BROADWAY PASSPORT SERIES began in 2021 thanks to a partnership between the New York State Assembly, Broadway producers and TDF. It enables community and service organizations across the State that serve lower-income residents to participate. Their members can join this program for free and purchase $20 or $40 tickets to Broadway shows. All organizations that qualify must be approved by the State.
WEDNESDAYS AT THE THEATRE is designed to bring older adult community groups from Community Partner or Passport organizations to matinees on Wednesdays at dramatically reduced prices. If you run or belong to an older-adult organization or center, please email us for more information about setting up your own Wednesday at the Theatre outing.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS provides monthly virtual viewings of the performing arts to older adults in community centers and residence homes. Curated musicals, plays, concerts and dance are shared via Zoom with post-viewing conversations for participants. The performances and discussions are in English, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese.
We seek Community Partners that value all cultures and want to facilitate or increase their organizations’ and/or constituents’ experience of the performing arts.
From social service agencies to educational leadership programs to public gardens and cultural centers, our community partners range in mission, but all share an appreciation for the vitality of the arts in our lives as New Yorkers. To that end, we brainstorm with prospective partners to find mutually beneficial ways to work together that are rewarding and enriching.
