Community Partners

Our Community Partners program works with a wide range of organizations in the Tristate area, offering a deeply discounted annual fee for TDF membership and resources around the arts. These are just some of the benefits of this program. Our Community Partners share our values and seek to increase and uphold the cultural life of New York and all New Yorkers. We also provide three-month subscriptions to BroadwayHD at no cost for Community Partners to share with their members.

We seek Community Partners that value all cultures and want to facilitate or increase their organizations' and/or constituents' experience of the performing arts.

From social service agencies to educational leadership programs to public gardens and cultural centers, our Community Partners range in mission, but all share an appreciation for the vitality of the arts in our lives. To that end, we brainstorm with prospective Community Partners to find mutually beneficial ways to work together that are rewarding and enriching.

Broadway Passport Series

The Broadway Passport Series program began in 2021 thanks to a partnership between the New York State Assembly, Broadway producers and TDF. It is designed for community and service organizations across the State that serve lower-income residents. Passport organization constituents can join this program for free and purchase $20 and $40 tickets to Broadway shows. In 2023, the program was extended by two years (expected end is December 2025) and expanded to Off-Broadway commercial productions. All organizations that qualify must be approved by the Empire State Development Corporation. Questions? Contact engagement@tdf.org.

Community Connections

Community Connections provides monthly virtual viewings of the performing arts to older adults in community centers and residence homes. Curated musicals, plays, concerts and dance performances are shared via Zoom with post-viewing conversations for the participants. The performances and discussions are in English, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese. Participating organizations are New York Foundation for Senior Citizens, Acacia Network and Union Settlement. If you are a member of one of these organizations, please contact them directly to participate. Questions? Contact engagement@tdf.org.

Wednesdays at the Theatre

Wednesdays at the Theatre is an opportunity for older adults to attend live performances and continue to connect with their peers over the shared cultural experiences. Our partner Older Adult Centers purchase deeply discounted tickets through this program for their constituents and residents to have unique outings during the year. Questions?
