So you want to be a playwright?
Young Playwrights' Group (YPG) is a free intensive playwriting program for New York City public high school students, facilitated by TDF. Due to the pandemic, this semester YPG will meet via Zoom once a week, on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. starting on October 15.
Teaching artist Noelle Ghoussaini runs YPG and will lead participants in theatre and writing exercises, community-building activities, and crafting original plays, poems and other creative material. Completed works will be performed virtually by professional actors at the end of the semester.
