Ms. Joo has garnered national prizes: bronze Medal from the Nationwide Music Competition, second prize from Yejin Music Competition and third prize from Brahms Competition. Having graduated from Seoul National University where she has studied with Aviram Reichert, she has moved to the States for her further studies at Manhattan School of Music, from which she has earned her Master of Music degree as a pupil of Phillip Kawin.
Ms. Joo has participated in the master classes with Edward Auer and Naum Grubert, and attend various music festivals in France and Italy. Currently Ms. Joo is a candidate for a Doctor of Music degree at Rutgers University as a pupul of Min Kwon.
