Two world-renowned artists collaborate on a riveting evening celebrating their African roots.
Rolling Stone calls Habib Koité "Mali's biggest pop star;" full of wit and wisdom, the composer and guitarist is a modern troubadour. Vusi Mahlasela—known in South Africa simply as "The Voice"—is a singer-songwriter, poet, and activist who performed at Nelson Mandela's inauguration. Together, they recall rich traditions of voice and song.
