This company of 40, throw themselves into every number with a startlingly ferocious energy. Daghestan itself is a highly diverse region with many ethnic groups, which is reflected in the differences in the choreography of each dance. The wild-eyed ferocity of the male dancers, and the sauciness of the women teach a lesson in dance theatrics.
