Baby Jessica's Well-Made Play is a five-act phone adventure to the bottom of a well and back again presented by Pipeline Theatre Company. Loosely inspired by the 1987 true story of Baby Jessica, this highly interactive, intimate performance-for-one ushers audience members into conversations about fear, hope, self-care, imagination, culture and memory. Over the course of two nights, audience members will discover what pulls them up and out of the dark. In Baby Jessica’s Well-Made Play, audience members will be asked to engage in conversations with strangers. While highly interactive, they will never be asked to play a character other than themselves. Throughout the course of the play, they will be provided with tools to determine the extent of their participation and comfort level.
Baby Jessica's Well-Made Play is performed entirely over the phone.
