Public Transport

  • By Subway:
    The PATH Yellow Line leaves Manhattan from 33rd Street, 23rd Street, 14th Street, or Christopher Street - to get to Newark you will need to change trains at Journal Square. The PATH Red Line goes direct from WTC to Newark’s Penn Station. From Penn Station, you can take the Newark Light Rail service to get to NJPAC and back after the show. Newark's Penn Station is just 5 blocks from NJPAC. For information on PATH trains, call 1-800 243-PATH or visit the PATH web site.

Accessibility

  • Assisted Listening System

    We’re happy to provide assisted listening devices upon request. The FM system in Prudential Hall requires a special receiver for each person. Whether or not you wear a hearing aid, we offer under-the-chin headsets and neck loops (personal teleloop) for t-coil users. In the Lizzie & Jonathan Tisch Stage at Victoria Theater and the Chase Room, we offer Sennheiser infrared devices
  • Elevator\Escalator

    All levels of NJPAC are accessible by elevator
  • Entrance

    Staff can assist you from the front door of the theater to your seats.
  • Parking

    There are accessible parking spaces in all NJPAC parking lots and Military Park garage across the street.
  • Restroom

    All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are located on all five levels on both sides of Prudential Hall and on both levels of the Lizzie & Jonathan Tisch Stage at Victoria Theater. Restrooms for the Chase Room are adjacent to the room.
  • Telephone

    None on premises
  • Visual Assistance

    Braille signage is available throughout NJPAC, including elevators, restrooms, salons, seating boxes and emergency stairwell exits. Large print programs are available on-site by request or by calling ahead
  • Wheelchair Info

    There are esignated areas for wheelchair users who want to remain in their wheelchair, and those who prefer to transfer to a theater seat. Adjacent seats are also available for purchase.
