One of Broadway’s greatest productions returns!

Olivier nominee Sienna Miller joins as “Sally Bowles” for Final Six Weeks of the acclaimed Broadway run, beginning February 17th.

Joining Alan Cumming (“The Good Wife,” Roundabout’s The Threepenny Opera) who reprises his Tony®-winning performance in Sam Mendes (Skyfall, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Nine and Chicago, the films) Tony-winning production of Cabaret. Also starring Tony nominees Danny Burstein (Follies) and Linda Emond (Death of a Salesman).

It is based on John Van Druten's 1951 play I Am a Camera, which in turn was adapted from the novel Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood. Set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, it focuses on nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw.
A sub-plot involves the doomed romance between German boarding house owner Fräulein Schneider and her elderly suitor Herr Schultz, a Jewish fruit vendor. Overseeing the action is the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub which serves as a constant metaphor for the tenuous and threatening state of late Weimar Germany throughout the show.

Cabaret is on Broadway again: Willkommen home, you magnificent beast. Why so soon? A better question might be: Why not? This Cabaret is a superb production of one of the great Broadway musicals of all time—an exhilarating, harrowing masterpiece. In Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall’s staging, Cumming is the corroded soul of the show; he haunts it and intrudes on it, magnetically mercurial. Cumming’s bouncy downtown energy keeps Cabaret from seeming like a period piece, and his new costars pull their weight.

Not a revival so much as a revival of a revival, this "Cabaret”…[is] as thrilling as ever, a marvel of staging that hasn't lost its punch. The score, by composer John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb, is as stirring as ever.
