Heather Smiley for President, a new musical comedy that bears a remarkable resemblance to the current campaign for President, as a world premiere with book and lyrics by Tom Attea and music composed by Arthur Abrams.

As timely as today's headlines, the musical spotlights Heather Smiley, a female Democratic candidate, as she struggles to present herself in a winning way against a growing field of Republican and Democratic candidates. Her husband, Bob, who has already been the President, supports her equal right to be the President. If she does manage to get elected, they'll become, as one lyric states, "the first mates to be Presidents of the United States."

Book by Tom Attea
Music composed by Arthur Abrams
Directed by Mark Marcante
Choreography by Angela Harriel
