"In my opinion, it will not cease, until a crisis shall have been reached, and passed....A house divided against itself cannot stand."

NORTHBOUND tells the story of two young slaves in 1859 with a growing desire for life, love, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... and the speeches that gave rise to the anti-slavery movements' most prominent abolitionists.

Meet Frederick Douglass as he shares his life's experience as a slave. Hear Lincoln deliver one of his most eloquent speeches...then...bare witness to John Brown's bold and controversial Insurrection at Harpers Ferry! At the heart of all this chaos is the Tully plantation... amidst the threat of the slave masters impure desires and demands... against the threat of the bondsmen's relentless pursuit... our young heroine and young hero discover they share a deep connection... hoping for a brighter future, while holding fast to the past...a moment in time...when they were kings and queens...rulers of the mighty Egyptian Empire!
