Tony and Maria, Leonard Bernstein’s 20th-century incarnation of Romeo and Juliet, struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice. Our production of West Side Story gets a hip, urban look, and features the original Jerome Robbins choreography in one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musicals of our time.

From the first notes to the final breath, WEST SIDE STORY is one of the greatest love stories of all time. The score is a musical masterpiece by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim—songs that have become part of our very culture.

General parking is located across the street from the Alice Busch Opera Theater. Handicapped parking is available on the same side of the street as the theater, and golf cart shuttles travel from the handicapped parking area to the front of the theater
