The Glimmerglass Festival is a one-of-a-kind summer destination, blending world-class opera and musical theater and events with renowned personalities and artists with a relaxed, casual atmosphere in the heart of Central New York.

Under Artistic & General Director, Francesca Zambello, The Glimmerglass Festival continues its tradition of four new fully staged productions performed as intended with full orchestra, large cast and no sound amplification. These four productions are supplemented by special performances, concerts, lectures and symposiums throughout the season.

We invite you to picnic on the Glimmerglass Festival grounds prior to or after the performance. Refreshments are available two hours before curtain and during intermission. Our concession stands, located at the front of the theater, offer fine wines, specialty wraps, sandwiches, salads and desserts.

No elevator to the second level of the theater.

General parking is located across the street from the Alice Busch Opera Theater. Handicapped parking is available on the same side of the street as the theater, and golf cart shuttles travel from the handicapped parking area to the front of the theater
